Supervisor

A Supervisor opportunity has arisen at our Heysham facility. The position will be required to lead and motivate a team of operational personnel at a safety critical site, ensuring that customer requirements are met in a safe, professional and timely manner.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring that your team are fully aware of the work instructions and the applicable risk assessments, ensuring that plant is operated in a safe manner at all times and planning and coordinating work activity ensuring that your team is adequately resourced for the task at hand, and dealing with changing circumstances as required. There will also be a need to play an active role in the management of the Rigging Loft.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work under own initiative and possess strong communication skills together with a proven ability to support a strong safety culture (IOSH Managing Safely Cert), as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience leading a team is essential (ECITB – Taking the Lead or equivalent) along with Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience within a similar role within renewables and Oil and Gas industries and operational experience in quayside and warehousing environments is desirable.
