Program Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Peterson Solutions at Kolkata/ Navi Mumbai, India for PROGRAM COORDINATOR.

As a Program Coordinator you will be responsible for conducting trainings, surveys and assessments at Agriculture commodity Sector/Food safety/Sustainability sector.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Preparing and conducting all on-site Surveys and assessments at farm level
• Active participation in on-site monitoring and evaluation
• Having experience on certification supports for sustainable agriculture/food safety/organic/textile
• Preparing and conducting all on-site training activities
• Conducting professional workshops at the farm level/ for managers
• Capable of organizing stakeholder engagement at rural and urban areas.
• Efficient and experienced in adult learning, capacity building and agriculture/social consultancy.
• Preparing, finalizing and submitting reports within a stipulated time frame
• Build, strengthen and optimize relationships with farmers, client

Requirements

• Graduate in Agriculture, Social work or Environmental Science.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in agriculture or related industry in above tasks.
• Hands on experience of field operations/ demonstrations & farmer trainings
• Experience in monitoring and evaluations tools and techniques
• Experience in conducting surveys and assessments independently at field (with farmers/households)
• Experience and knowledge of sustainable farming, organic farming, livelihood studies would be an added advantage.
• Good communication skill at field /ground level.
• Good command of English, Hindi: in speech and in writing
• Excellent report writing, presentation skills
• Resourceful, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to travel extensively (upto 15-20 days per month) in the regions across PAN India
