Tasks / Responsibilities 

• Project Development: Identify opportunities, develop project proposals, and secure funding through public-private partnerships. 

• Project Management: Lead projects from concept to implementation, including team coordination, progress monitoring, and financial oversight. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with growers, consultants, researchers, and government bodies to ensure practical relevance and impact. 

• Innovation Translation: Abstract practical challenges into project-level solutions and reintroduce them into practice. 

• Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear communication with partners and financiers; ensure accurate administration and timely resource allocation. 

• Team Collaboration: Work within a team of diverse project managers, sharing insights and coordinating efforts. 

Qualifications and Experience 

Education: 

• University or HBO degree in arable or horticultural sciences. 

Experience:  

• Several years in a similar project management role. 

• Practical knowledge of arable farming. 

• Experience with project acquisition and stakeholder coordination. 

• Language Skills: Proficient in English and Dutch (spoken and written). 

• Regional Affinity: Familiarity with regions like the Peat Colonies or Flevopolder is a plus. 

• Network: Existing network in agricultural practice is advantageous.
