Sustainable Finance Executive

As a Sustainable Finance Executive at Peterson Solutions, you will play a key role in leading sustainability projects. We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Sustainable Finance Executive to support and expand our growing portfolio of sustainable finance projects. The role involves working closely with financial institutions and banks to strengthen sustainable finance practices, support green financing initiatives, and enhance ESG integration within financial decision-making processes.

This role is ideal for a professional with prior experience in the banking or financial services sector and hands-on exposure to sustainable or green finance initiatives.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Sustainable Finance Advisory Support: Assist in the development and implementation of sustainable finance frameworks, green finance initiatives, and ESG-aligned financial practices for clients.
• Business Development Support: Contribute to developing and expanding the sustainable finance business segment, identifying opportunities with financial institutions and supporting proposal development and client engagement.
• Project Execution: Support and manage sustainable finance and ESG-related consulting projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with banks, financial institutions, and corporates to identify opportunities for sustainable finance solutions and ESG integration.
• Green Finance & ESG Projects: Contribute to green loan frameworks, sustainability-linked financing initiatives, and climate and ESG risk assessment projects.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct research and market analysis related to sustainable finance trends, regulatory developments, and best practices.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare technical and client-facing reports and documentation.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with technical teams to provide integrated advisory solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector
• Professional exposure to sustainable finance, green finance, ESG, or climate finance initiatives
• Experience working with banks or financial institutions on sustainability or finance-related projects
• Qualification or professional training related to Sustainable Finance or ESG is preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deliver projects within timelines
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client coordination skills
• Proficiency in report writing
